FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a machine for preparation of tobacco leaves for drying that contains a looping mechanism with a vertical needle and a drive, a lower drawing transporter and an upper hold-down transporter the driving axle whereof is positioned at the transporter outlet before the needle while the driven axle is attached behind the looping mechanism needle on the said transporter spring-loaded lever so that to enable swinging within a vertical plane; the upper hold-down transporter is additionally equipped with a cutting drum with teeth positioned along its axis, the drum mounted on the driven axle of the upper transporter spring-loaded lever.
EFFECT: ensuring quality cutting of tobacco veins.
