FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine and veterinary. Dissection of tendon bundles is performed with sliding movement of skin cut on the surface of their common tendon sheath. First Achilles tendon is dissected in the area of muscle-tendon joint. After that, tendon of superficial flexor is dissected with indent in distal direction equal to the distance corresponding to the value of elongation. Flexion efforts on ankle joint are created with obtaining divergence of ends of dissected tendons to their edge contact butt end-to-butt end, with control of additional tendon integrity.
EFFECT: method ensures prevention and elimination of equinus foot placement and flexion contracture of ankle joint in dogs.
