SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to pharmaceutical industry and represents a composition for treating and preventing viral infections caused by RNA-containing viruses, such as influenza, parainfluenza, parotitis, rubeola viruses, respiratory syncytial virus, rubella virus, rhinovirus, containing an active ingredient in the form of 0.001-0.5 wt % of ribonuclease (RNA-ase) and 0.001-0.5 wt % of glycyrrhizinic acid or a salt thereof: ammonium or dipotassium or trisodium glycyrrhizinate; the carriers are as follows: 0.05-1.0 wt % of a polymer carrier, 0.001-5.0 wt % of β-cyclodextrins or hydrogenised lecitin and acceptable excipients.
EFFECT: invention provides the preserved activity of the enzyme ribonuclease for a longer period of time, the higher stability and potentiated combined antiviral action.
