FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: foamed polystyrene used is foamed polystyrene PSB-S M50 and the modifier used is a product of emulsion copolymerisation of acrylic monomers Emucryl M and a copolymer of styrene, butyl acrylate and acrylic acid, obtained by emulsion copolymerisation - Acratam AS. Saturation is carried out at temperature of 18-22°C for 24 hours and heat treatment is carried out at temperature of 80°C for 10 hours.

EFFECT: high strength and hardness of foamed polystyrene, high resistance to UV radiation and low coefficient of linear thermal expansion.
