FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: plugging solution comprises plugging Portland cement and expanding additive in amount of 17.6-28.0 % of Portland cement weight. Expanding additive comprises the following components in wt %: magnesite caustic powder - 33-50, high-alumina slag - 29-39, calcium sulphate - 21-38. Additive particle size features oversize of 0.08 mm in amount of 10-12%. Proposed method comprise separate making of plugging solution from Portland cement and water and water solution of said expanding additive with their subsequent mixing. In making the basic plugging solution, sodium chloride is added to water in amount of 4% of Portland cement weight while mixing of aqueous solution of expanding additive makes at least 25 minutes and not over 2/3 of its thickening.

EFFECT: higher quality of plugging.
