FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: downhole motor protector consists of housing composed of a hollow cylinder. Said housing has top and bottom connection threads. Ribs are made at said housing. Through inclined holes are made between ribs in said housing. Protector every rib is furnished with one damping assy composed of recesses made on rib outer surface. Rod with bent ends for attachment in said rib is arranged in said recess. Free space of said recess is filled with resilient material. Rod surface part extends above the rib outer surface.
