FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises making every carrier computing its coordinates, locating and computing the coordinates of extension carrier and main carrier of inertial system. Coordinates of objects and navigation data are transmitted from extension carrier to main carrier. Data on coordinates of objects received from inertial system of both carriers are compared to computer relative position corrections of navigation system relative to main and relative angular corrections in navigation system of both carriers. Discrepancies in said coordinate data are minimized by identified objects and navigation data of both carriers. Proposed system comprises main carrier software-hardware means connected by communication lines. Said means comprise navigation system, inertial system, software-hardware means of data transmission, operator workstation and extension carrier software-hardware means including navigation system, transducers and software-hardware means of data transmission configured to computer navigation means of every carrier.
