FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: drive with fast-stop device for axial displacement to gun barrel breech 3 or its holder comprises engine 2 and chain carrying at least two actuating cams. Chain 6 is arranged, mainly, under breech 3 to be guides via two sprockets 5. Carriage 8 with groove 9 extending over its width is arranged across direction of fire to displace under breech 3 or its holder. Groove 9 allows displacing said actuating cam 7 to displace breech 3 in direction of fire forward or, after shot, backward. Breech stop at forward position is executed at breech forward motion driven by actuating cam 9 that escapes from groove 9 to move backward at gun opposite side without breech 3. After shot, said carriage 8 displaces to opposite side while in case not shot is made its stays at position whereat it is separated from actuating cam 7 while another cam 7 cannot drive breech 3 backward.

EFFECT: automatic uncoupling of breechblock at ignition failure or delayed ignition.
