FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand-held spanners. Ring spanner comprises assy for torque application, holder coupled therewith, and fastener gripping case. Said fastener gripping case has the set of fastener gripping surfaces composed by fastener opening. Fastener has axle and side groove for long element to be fitted in said fastener opening at displacement across fastener opening axis. Holder has free end and can displace between position whereat said free end is spaced from torque application assy to allow passage of long element in said side groove and the position whereat said free end grips torque application assy so that toque applied to said assy is transferred to holder via said free end.
EFFECT: reliable retention of long element.
