FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand-held grippers. Proposed hand-held gripper comprises first and second jaw assemblies with section of engagement with gripped part. Second jaw assembly can displace relative to first jaw to form variable-size spacing for part to be gripped between engagement sections. Besides, gripper comprises handle to apply force to second jaw assembly. Second jaw assembly can be engaged with the surface of response to press engagement section to gripped part. Second jaw assembly comprises longer section extending from said engagement section with gripped part. Handle arm is connected to said extended section at the point of connection while the latter incorporates section of facilitating flexure. The latter is located between aforesaid engagement section and aforesaid point of connection. Said flexure facilitating section facilitates longer section flexure in direction from first jaw assembly. In compliance with second version, gripper comprises first and second cams. In compliance with third version, gripper comprises rotary lever means.
EFFECT: reliable gripping.
