FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to variable-length coupler assy. Proposed module comprises power cylinder and expandable mechanism composed of breaking pair of articulated levers. Cylinder body and rod as well as levers have end hinged to articulation with vehicle links. Said cylinder has second expandable mechanism composed in a similar way. Both said mechanism oppose in symmetry relative to power cylinder parallel with its lengthwise axis or at the angle thereto. Said end hinges of the rod and cylinder body and those of said levers share common horizontal axles. In compliance with first version, towing ring fitted on said common axle makes a connector on the side of front link axle. Module hinges are secured directly to one of rear link elements. Hydropneumatic system can be connected to drive hydropneumatic system of coupler linkage, or can be an independent system In compliance with second version, ball joints or moving hinges with three degrees of freedom can make said connectors.
