SUBSTANCE: proposed automatic coupler has guide case consisting of upper and lower catchers with release device fitted in between and front stabilizer fastened by bolts on trailer traction yoke. End face surface of stabilizer holder is provided with radial slots in form of dihedral angles engaging with ball projections of split housing flat stop, prime-mover traction rod terminating in split cam connected by bolts and containing two axle-shafts whose movement is limited by stop rings, and hydraulic locking system with two electromechanical locks. EFFECT: provision of automatic coupling and uncoupling of members at high reliability of coupling and construction of butt-joint unit, and slackless coupling. 3 cl, 12 dwg
