FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to in-flight payload dropping equipment Proposed method comprises arrangement and fixation of transfer-and-launch container and guides at and along aircraft fuselage, container having payload outlet for it to be launched in direction to flight path. Said container houses guides to accommodate payload to make air chambers at container front inner space. Said payload is secured to said container by fastener which allows uncoupling. When aircraft approached the drop point, gas jet is forced from high-pressure gas source to said air chamber and to uncouple said fastener. After partial escape of payload, second gas jet from gas generator is forced into said air chamber. First jet flow rate and combine flow rate of gas first and second jets are confined by pressure in said container by relationship P≤M·n·g/S, where M is payload weight, n is maximum overload at payload in drop direction, g is gravitational acceleration, S is payload cross-section area.
EFFECT: accelerated payload drop.
