FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircrafts. In the method for separating a group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from a carrier aircraft, each UAV is installed in a multi-position launch device in the cargo area of the carrier aircraft. Multi-position launch device is provided with devices for securing each UAV, which are capable of being released. To extend the UAV from the cargo compartment, the starting device is rotatably provided and provided with guides for moving and mounting the UAV from its rear end. Swivel cowling of the cargo compartment is attached to the bottom of the launcher. To install and detach the UAV, release the multiple-action lock, turn the launcher to an angle that allows each UAV to be installed in the launch device along the guides and its slip during separation. After the UAV is installed and after their separation, the multi-position starting device is reversed and locked in the cargo compartment by a multiple-acting stopper. Separation of the UAV is carried out under the influence of gravity by the sequential dismantling of the fastening devices.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to ensure the safe separation of the UAV from the carrier aircraft.
