FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to insulation methods of surfaces not meant for anodic oxidation used for manufacturing of space vehicles, where length of zones free from covering on honeycomb panels surfaces is about 40-50 metres. Insulation is performed by application of insulating coating several layers on them, each layer is being dried. Before insulating coating application, along the zones not meant for coating templates are arranged with projection in its upper part directed towards zone of insulating coating application. When it is applied, lower edge of the template projection should be above the surface of upper layer. As a composition for insulating coating, used is AK-20 nitroadhesive with rhodamine applied in layers which quantity is determined by adequate thickness of insulating coating for high adhesion and film flexibility upon removal. Each layer is dried for 50-60 minutes, final drying is performed under 30-50 °C for at least 10 hours.
EFFECT: high-quality insulating coating of separate sections and high-quality coating of the whole surface of product.
