FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for transmitting electrical signals and is intended for contactless communication over a pipeline channel. The apparatus transmits signals over a pipeline without galvanic coupling of the transmitting unit directly with conductors of the physical pipeline-earth circuit (contactless). The apparatus includes a pipeline and a transmitting unit which comprises an information signal generator and a radiator, which is a U-shaped magnetic conductor on which an inductance coil and a capacitor are placed, forming a parallel oscillatory circuit, and a transformer coupling coil which is connected to the output of the generator. The pipeline is placed between poles of the radiator.
EFFECT: enabling use of the apparatus on metal pipelines irrespective of the method of laying down said pipelines, high efficiency, noise-immunity and operational reliability.
