FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a suspension device and is aimed at operating reliability of the device and at comfortable arrangement in it of a sign or another subject. The suspension device includes a basic part; a holder connected to the basic part; two catching tongues that are attached to the basic part with possibility of rotation and have the possibility of rotation relative to each other forward and backward between an open position and a closed position; a spring element functioning between the catching tongues; and a gear mechanism with the first gear element rigidly attached to one of the catching tongues and the second gear element rigidly attached to the other catching tongue. Gear elements are engaged with each other and have the possibility of their being turned relative to each other at rotation of catching tongues relative to each other. One of the catching tongues has the possibility of being turned relative to the basic part around the first rotation axis, and the other catching tongue has the possibility of being turned relative to the basic part around the second rotation axis that passes parallel to the first rotation axis and at some distance from it.

EFFECT: reliable operation of the device and comfortable arrangement in it of a sign or another subject.
