FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises electrically driven fuel feed pumps arranged fuel feed main line communicating fuel tank with combustion chamber. Note here that one of said pump is the main fuel pump while another one makes an auxiliary pump. Inlet and outlet of every said pump are communicated via bypass fuel line with valve to control cross-flow therein. Main pump drive allows maintaining preset fuel feed to combustion chamber by control over motor rotor rpm or current in motor windings. Digital fuel feed controller is connected with valves by its output and inputs controlling drive motors in rotor rpm and current strength and uses main pump drive motor put for control in rotor rpm. In case said controller fails, control is effected by current in motor windings.
EFFECT: serviceability at failure of whatever pump, power savings
