SUBSTANCE: electrically driven pump for a gas turbine engine (GTE) includes a working medium feed pump and an electric drive including an electric motor and a control unit of its rotation speed, which is connected to the electric motor, sensors and a control system of a higher level. The electrically driven pump also includes a module serving for non-measured design determination of working medium consumption. The module is made in the form of a digital device having inputs for supply of signals from the control unit of rotation speed of the electric motor nm and current in its power windings Im, which includes a memory with values of the earlier obtained experimental relationship between working medium flow rate and indirect parameters in the form of rotation speed of the electric motor and current in its power windings and a calculation algorithm of the design value of volumetric flow rate Qp as per experimental values and measured values of signals from rotation speed sensors of the electric motor and current in its power windings, which is based on the following relationship: Qp=f(nm,Im).

EFFECT: improvement of reliability and quality of monitoring or control of a gas turbine engine due to inertia-free determination of the value of the working medium flow rate at the pump outlet, including in GTE control algorithms in transient modes of its operation.
