FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method is created to control ignition of a gas device, operation of which is controlled by control gas fittings, and control gas fittings for realisation of this method. For this purpose during actuation of a drive unit related to control gas fittings to open the main valve of the control gas fittings a sensor that records the working condition of the main burner is activated in such a manner that whenever ignition of the main gas flow fails within the specified time in the main burner, the main valve is again closed, also by the specified interval of time.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce risk of accumulation of high amount of gas in a cavity prior to ignition of the main burner, prevents immediate repeated attempt of ignition.
