FIELD: power engineering; regeneration of thermal energy by means of catalytic heating elements working on principle of flameless oxidation of natural gas; autonomous water heating systems and continuous hot water supply for domestic and industrial buildings. SUBSTANCE: hot-water boiler includes furnace unit provided with tubular cylindrical or oval heating catalytic element provided with two sleeves which are extension of tubular structure with layer of catalyst located on surface of tubular structure and sleeves; it is made in form of gas permeable flat and corrugated reinforced tapes wound and sintered with tubular structure and sleeves at spaced relation between turns forming gas-and-air passages between tapes. Used as catalyst is reinforced porous material containing the following active components: Co3O4, CuO, Cr2O3, Fe2O3, Al2O3, metals of group VIII secured on metal carriers by means of Ti-Al, Ni-Al, Ni-Cr and Ti-Si alloys. Proposed hot-water boiler may be used for employing catalytic oxidation principle, thus ensuring ecologically pure oxidation of hydrocarbon gases. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 8 cl, 3 dwg
