FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: artillery round to a grenade machine gun includes an armament section and a combustion chamber fixed on its shank. The armament section housing is equipped with a leading belt. The combustion chamber is filled with a propellant powder charge. The charge is supported from an outlet diaphragm with a central igniter capsule. Nozzle openings of the diaphragm are covered with petal-type dampers. Dampers are formed with radial riffles. The propellant powder charge is loaded with a spring gasket. Petal-type dampers of nozzle openings are made in a common bowl-shaped membrane with a socket. Layers of igniter and functional powders of the propellant charge are in-series located in the membrane. The spring gasket is mounted with a gap under the combustion chamber cover plate.
EFFECT: improving functional reliability of ammunition.
