FIELD: armament.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition of unitary loading, more specifically to artillery cartridges for an automatic grenade launcher. An artillery cartridge for an automatic grenade launcher contains a fragmentation case of a warhead, equipped with a leading belt and a thread shank related to a combustion chamber, closed with a cover, of a propellant powder charge placed on membrane overlapping outlets around a central igniter capsule. The thread shank overlaps 0.6 of a height of the combustion chamber, a volume of which is filled with the propellant powder charge, which is loaded from above with a spring gasket installed with a gap relatively to the cover.
EFFECT: increase in functional reliability and safety of an artillery cartridge.
