FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinding loose material, for example, initial cement stock, cement clinker etc. Jar roller comprises housing, mainly horizontal stationary grinding table and set of rolls to run about its pin. Grinding comprises means to force gases into jar roller housing and means for continuous discharge of suspended gas therefrom. Every pin of said roll is articulated with vertical shaft located at grinding table center. Articulation turn center located in vertical plane below roll pin axial line allows a free circular motion of roll up and down in the plane including the roll pin axial line. In compliance with proposed method, roll pins and vertical shaft bring grinding products in contact with gases forced through set of nozzles. Said nozzles are fitted inside mill housing, on grinding table or in circle thereof. Grinding product suspended in gases is discharged through outlet in mill housing. Grinding pressure increase due to increase in angular velocity brought about increased torque relative to hinge.
EFFECT: continuous grinding, unlimited diameter of grinding table.
