FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair of clutch assemblies. In compliance with this method, clutch assy with friction disc is disassembled and subjected to flaw detection. Metal substrate of the disc is machined prior to gluing. Machined surfaces are degreased by appropriate means and aired or dried in drying oven at 60-65°C. Note here that cure time makes 20-25 minutes and 4-5 minutes. Glue composition is applied in one or two layers on disc processed surfaces and one side of friction liner, every layer being cured for 60 minutes at 15-30°C. Adherent surfaces of friction liners are jointed together and compacted at specific pressure of 5-10 kgf/cm2. Thereafter, assembled disc is placed in drying oven to be cured for 1-2 hours at 140-180°C. Note here that heating and further cooling are effected at the rate of over 2-3°C per minute.
EFFECT: simple, reliable and efficient repair.
