FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: complex of fire alarm and gas hazard monitoring additionally comprise technical control means of specific optical density of the air environment in the protected area, calculated from weakening of the reference signals of optical industrial gas analysers. The specified technical means are made with the ability of data transmission on the specific optical density of the air environment, to the receiving-control fire device from the optical industrial gas analysers. At that the said gas analysers are positioned as combined optical gas detectors/optoelectronic smoke fire alarm units (additionally certified in the field of fire safety). At that the complex of fire alarm and gas hazard monitoring should additionally comprise the means for local indication of standby mode and the mode of transmission of alarm notification when exceeding the optical density of the controlled air environment of the operating threshold.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of fire detection and optimisation of the number of fire detectors in shelters of gas turbine gas pumping units and other hazardous industrial sites, where for gas hazard monitoring in process areas of increased explosive flammability the infrared gas detectors of combustible gases are used connected with the automatic fire fighting equipment of the facility, as well as other industrial gas analysers are used for detection of gases having density lower than the density of air, which principle of operation is based on absorption by molecules of the detected gas of light flux energy, and calculation of the concentration of the detected gas in relation to the reference and measurement signals.
