METHOD TO AMPLIFY PULSE Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC H03K5/02

Abstract RU 2509410 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: pulse is shaped, in particular, within a pack of pulses, carrying out modulation of the bearing oscillation by the first modulating oscillation, defining the envelope of the shaped pulse, the resulting signal is generated, containing the specified generated pulse, by modulation of the generated pulse by the second modulating oscillation, defining the envelope of the resulting signal, and the resulting signal is amplified by amplification of its envelope, thus amplifying the generated pulse, contained in the resulting signal. Frequency of the second modulating oscillation is selected so that it is less than the frequency of the bearing oscillation of the shaped pulse and is less than the frequency of the first modulating oscillation, and duration of half-period of the second modulating oscillation is more than the duration of the shaped pulse, fully including such pulse, according to the duration, into one half-period of the second modulating oscillation, providing for content of the shaped pulse within the resulting signal.

EFFECT: provision of pulse amplification with a priori unknown parameters and characteristics, ultrabroadband, ultrashort pulses and pulses within pulse packs.
