FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in the field of poultry industry. The unit for processing of embryos of birds and day-old chicks with radiant energy comprises a transfer mechanism, a remote control, a starter, a laser "Matrix" irradiating with the red light of wavelength of 630 nm and a power density on the surface of the object of 20 mW/cm2, a gas-discharge lamp "DNESG-500" irradiating the hatching eggs, developing chicks with red light of wavelengths of 630-650 nm, at the absorption maximum of 640 nm and an average dose on the surface of eggs of 23.1 erg.
EFFECT: invention provides increased embryonic and postembryonic viability.
