FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rotary cradle-mounted semi-submersible pump has rotor with shaft enclosed impeller and thrust plate. Composite pump housing comprises running section housing with bearings and suspension case attached to thrust plate from below and locked to flow section housing. Impeller comprises the main and cover discs with s set of curved vanes. Said main and cover discs are protected from outside by hydraulic locks composed by diffuser. Flow section housing has ledged rear wall the smaller outer radius of which makes at least the impeller flow radius. Impeller hub outer radius should ensure congruence with rear wall opening inner radius to make a groove seal and a circular channel in said hub exposed from above.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture and assembly, longer life, higher reliability and efficiency.
