FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making electrodes for hand arc welding of carbon steel and low-alloy steel. The electrode coating has components in the following ratio, wt %: marble 49.5-51.0, fluorspar concentrate 14.0-16.0, ferromanganese 5.0-7.0, ferrosilicon 5.5-7.5, ferrotitanium 8.0-10.0, quartz sand 8.5-9.5, mica 1.5-2.5, talc 1.0-2.0, cellulose 1.0-1.5 and activated ferrotitanium powder with particle size of up to 25 mcm 0.3-0.5.
EFFECT: improved welding process properties of electrodes and obtaining a weld metal joint of high quality.
