FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: composition of charge of electrode coating contains components at following ratio of components, wt %: marble 7.0-10.0; ilmenite 39.0-41.0; ferro-manganese 13.0-14.0, mica 9.0-12.0; cellulose 1.5-2.0, talk-magnesite 9.0-12.0, manganese ore 6.5-8.0 and wastes of electrode coating mixture 7.5-8.5. Wastes of electrode coating mass contain marble, ferrotitanium, ferromanganese, ferrosilicon, mica, fluorspar, high silica sand, talk and powder of potassium-sodium glass.
EFFECT: reduced expenditures for fabrication of electrodes, improved welding-process properties and increased mechanic characteristics of seam metal.
