FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for receiving pulsed optical radiation, primarily to receivers of pulsed laser range finders and similar devices for measuring time intervals between optical pulses. The pulsed optical radiation receiver has a photodetector with a bias source and a load connected to an amplifier, the amplifier being based on a differential stage circuit, the left-side input of which is connected to the photodetector load and the right-side input can be connected to an external signal source, wherein the inputs of the differential stage are connected in parallel to switches which are connected to a commutator switch which controls their anti-phase closing and opening.
EFFECT: high accuracy of timing a received signal and, consequently, high accuracy of measurement using devices employing such a receiver.
