A second photodetector with a second differentiating link is introduced into the receiver of the laser rangefinder, which contains a series-connected photodetector and a timing device consisting of a series-connected differentiating link with a time constant and a zero comparator, as well as a coincidence circuit connected to the outputs of the zero comparator and the photodetector. having the same time constant, a switch is introduced between the outputs of the differentiating links and the input of the zero comparator, a threshold device is introduced at the output of the first differentiating link, the output of which is connected to the control input of the switch, optical systems are installed in front of the first and second photodetectors, focusing the received radiation on their sensitive areas with the transmission coefficients of optical systems relative to the input irradiance. The optical system of the second photodetector can be made in the form of a coupler of a part of the light beam from the radiation flux directed to the first photodetector.

EFFECT: ensuring high accuracy of time fixation of the received signal in an extremely wide dynamic range.
