FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft servicing, particularly, to aircraft towing. Proposed method consists in using the aircraft towing device composed of tractor, a moving electrically driven unit, tow bar interacting with aircraft front leg and towing car composed by the frame and drive wheels with differential drive from drive gearing. Towing car is engaged with aircraft front leg by crank-type grippers making the car frame extension to allow the car front wheel loading by drive wheel weight acting at said front leg due to reactive moment caused by increase in resistance to aircraft rolling.

EFFECT: higher towing properties, possibility for towing various types of aircraft.
