FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: combine harvester separator comprises inlet head casing, feed drum and two axial separating rotors with their one end partially entering inlet head casing. Inlet head casing comprises flat inlet sections, each of which passes along the width of the corresponding axial separating rotor, between which there is a section of the casing in the form of a ramp, oriented parallel to the direction of supply of axial separating rotors and supporting separation of the crop flow coming from the feed drum into partial flows fed into the axial separating rotors. Section of the casing in the form of a ramp is equipped with at least one separating element made of at least one first material. At least one separating element comprises a main body oriented perpendicular to the surface of the casing section, and an end surface partially made in the form of a cutting edge. On the end surface there is at least partially applied a coating of wear-resistant second material located, in fact, in the centre in the longitudinal direction of the end surface. Coating is made in the form of a strip or tape, the width of which is less than the total width of the end surface. Combine harvester comprises such a separating device.
EFFECT: improved separation device and increased service life.
