FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Proposed brake comprises stationary case, case cover, working shaft and cooling system. External brake discs with metal inserts and return springs secured thereto are secured inside said case. Heat removal channels are made in said external brake discs. For coolant feed and discharge used are internal discs with friction shoes engaged via mid bushing with working shaft. Inner and outer rings are fitted in said cover to secure circular shaped diaphragm and press it to push piston. The latter is composed of a ring with inserted non-metallic insert and stays in contact with outer ring of external brake shoe. Compressed air feed chamber is arranged between circular shaped diaphragm outer surface and case cover.
EFFECT: simplified design of the brake.
