FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: coalescer consists of a body, tubes for product inlet and outlet and coalescent material. The body is made as a cylinder at which butt ends there are inlet and outlet tubes. Coalescent material is placed in the whole volume of the body. Close to the inlet tube along the body axis there is a steam inlet pipe oriented along the flow of products. In the central part of the body in circumferential direction there are lateral tubes for steam inlet. Close to the outlet tube there is a water inlet tube oriented towards the flow of products. In the lower part of the body there is a draining tube.
EFFECT: increasing degree of oil sludge purification.
