FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil slime treatment processes to form feedstock for installation where starting material for commercial petroleum and fuel oil are produced. Slime is treated on ultrasonic cavitation installation. It is first heated to 60-90°C and compressed with pump to pressure 6 kg/cm2, which allows creation of 20-50 Hz ultrasound , after which slime id thrice treated with demulsifier in taken in proportion 2000 g/t to produce fuel for boiler assemblies and in proportion 4000 g/t to produce starting material for commercial petroleum production plant. More specifically, oil slime is settled for 24 h to be ready for use as fuel while oil slime with at least 10% water is simultaneously formed. The latter is settled for 48 h to give product with less than 1% water and up to 500 mg/L oil. Partially dehydrated product (at least 10% water) is used as fuel oil and thrice treated on ultrasonic cavitation apparatus at pressure 20 kg/cm2 and frequency 100-200 kHz.
EFFECT: enabled simple process for production of valuable commercial products.
