SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing process of tubular knitwear, principally legwear garment classified as casual clothes, mostly for autumn or winter. According to the invention the product is characterised in that, for example, in the manufacture of tights, while knitting a torso part having a maximum width corresponding to the maximum perimeters of the circumference of human body in its critical standard sections, the length of thread in the loop (ℓ) is increased and simultaneously the total linear density of the threads (T) is increased, preferably by inclusion of additional thread in the knitting process, in which the filling coefficient of knitwear (k_ℓ) is within the range of 0.85-0.95 and is determined by the formula $$k_{\ell }=\raisebox{1ex}{$\ell $}\!\left/ \!\raisebox{-1ex}{$\sqrt{T}$}\right.,$$ where ℓ is the length of the thread in the loop, and T is total linear density of the threads. The proposal does not exclude the construction of products in the form of tights, leggings, shorts, half-stockings and other products where the parts of the product of maximum width are made of thicker yarn and the length of thread in the loop is simultaneously increased.

EFFECT: proposal according to the invention provides creation of a wider range of product sizes, including breeches with treads (tights) and leggings without gore of large sizes.
