SUBSTANCE: invention relates to loading carrier tanks with fluid and can be used at petroleum storage depots. Filling adapter consists of telescopically secured external and internal pipes, sealing cover and self-braking lifting-and-lowering mechanism secured at fixed external pipe. Sealing cover incorporates spherical supports, horizontal sealing surface and screw clamps. Filling adapter comprises two telescopically secured fixed external and moving internal pipes coupled by flexible linkage via self-braking lifting-and-lowering mechanism.
