FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special-purpose structures, separately built shelters, standing in open areas, namely, to inspection armoured cabins installed onto supports for placement of a pointsman at the perimeter of a secured facility. The observation tower comprises an inspection armoured cabin with a body in the form of a convex double-layer polyhedron, each later of which is made of polygonal armoured sheets mutually connected to each other by sides. The cabin body is made as capable of complete disassembly, is equipped with flat ribs with slots, into which, slot into a slot, they insert flat sheet inserts with slots, at the same time armour sheets of neighbouring layers are connected with the common flat sheet insert in parallel by arranged bolts, and the joint of two armour sheets of the same layer is made as coated with the side of one of armour sheets.
EFFECT: provision of the possibility to transport a tower cabin to a place of assembly in a disassembled compact form, higher manufacturability, reduced labour intensiveness and simplified assembly, higher bullet resistance.
