FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marking of, primarily containers with waste nuclear fuel and radioactive wastes at their long-term storage. Data carrier is placed on article and composed of marking area coat, marking being made after coat application. Prior to applying coat, sublayer of material differing in colour from coat on marking area. Marking symbols represent cuts with depth corresponding to coat thickness. In case remarking or marking variation is necessary, previous marking is covered by another coat to apply new marking.
EFFECT: removing marking or changing it, application may be made of exiting marking.
