FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic adjustment of security means when executing application programs. The method for automatic modification of security means comprises steps of: verifying if an application meets safety criteria; if the application meets the safety criteria, executing the application in test mode; switching the application execution scenarios; recording operations performed by the security means while executing application scenarios, wherein operations associated with the executed application are recorded; determining priorities for the recorded operations; creating a set of instructions which modify the security means, wherein modification of the security means enables the security means to perform operations depending on said priority; modifying the security means by executing the formed set of instructions.
EFFECT: reducing the amount of computational resources consumed by the security means when executing an application program without loss of quality of security.
