FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: reinforced warp mesh endoprosthesis for the surgical repair of the pelvic floor in females made of polypropylene monofilaments consists of two fixing strips with a central platform in between; a tissue attachment area is located in the middle of an outer side of the front fixing strip. The central platform is rectangular and has a length formed with at least 90 rows of loops and a width formed with at least 15 columns of loops made of monofilaments d1. In the middle of the outer sides of the fixing strips having a width of at least 8 columns of loops and a length of at least 4 lengths of the central platform, there are the tissue attachment areas in the form of an equilateral trapezium having a height of at least 0.5 widths of the fixing strip. Each of the above areas and both fixing strips are made of the monofilaments of the central platform and extra monofilaments of a greater thickness d2. A length of a greater base of the front trapezoid platform is equal to a length of the central platform. A length of a greater base of the back trapezoid platform is equal to two widths of the fixing strip. Each of the transient areas from the central platform to the fixing strips is formed of at least 3 columns of loops of the monofilaments of the central platform and extra monofilaments of a thickness d3=(d1+d2)/2. The mesh area relation of the central platform, fixing strips and transient areas makes 1.0:0.5:0.75. Lesser bases of the trapezoid platforms having a length equal to a width of the central platform, as well as the inner and outer sides of the fixing stripes are formed with non-traumatic columns of loops with smooth rounded closed side loops.
EFFECT: reducing the number of recurrences and postoperative complications ensured by improving the endoprosthesis strength within attachment points to the basic structures of the pelvic floor by using the non-traumatic reinforced form-stable fixing strips and distributing the load within transient points to the central platform with a low surface density, preserving a vertical shape in case of fixing strip deflection by fixing the lesser bases of the trapezoid areas with the smooth rounded closed side loops, simplifying the process of the endoprosthesis delivery to the pelvic floor defect both horizontally, and vertically with using the reinforced fixing strips and trapezoid platforms for tissue attachment.
