FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of polyurethane coasts on wearing structural parts, particularly, locating and sealing rings used in pumps, dredges, oil and other pumps, etc. For this, polyurethane coat is applied on major-wear surfaces of single-component metal part using an adhesive as the binder. Proposed method comprises the steps that follow. Major-wear surfaces of single-component metal part are machined by removing the layer in magnitude corresponding the coat depth. Then, grooves are made on said all surfaces to be degreased. Said surface are processed with binder Silbond 49 SFS while the part is heated. Thus prepared part is placed in the mould. Clearances between the part and mould surfaces are filled with polyurethane "СКУ ПФЛ-100". Polyurethane is cured at 80-100°C for three hours for hardening, the part is cooled and withdrawn from the mould.

EFFECT: longer life.
