FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of transfer under water pressure of the corresponding print image to the surface of various articles under control of matting and to the article with the image obtained by this method of transfer under water pressure. The method of image transfer under water pressure comprises steps of reproducing the adhesion of the dried print image by applying polymeric composition curable by ultraviolet irradiation, comprising a photopolymerizable monomer, for penetration of the said polymeric composition curable by ultraviolet irradiation to the said print image; subsequent transfer of the said print image under water pressure to the surface of the article with formation of decorative layer and subsequent exposure of ultraviolet irradiation to the said decorative layer for curing the said decorative layer with simultaneous formation of thin irregularities due to different shrinkage of a part with the printing ink of the said decorative layer, characterised by inclusion of additional steps of carrying out the preliminary exposure of ultraviolet irradiation, penetrating only in the near-surface part of the said decorative layer prior to curing of the said decorative layer to form a part with the thin irregularity of the surface in height due to shrinkage of ink on the surface of the said part with the printing ink of the said decorative layer, and subsequent final exposure of ultraviolet irradiation penetrating through the entire thickness of the said decorative layer for full cure through the entire thickness of the said decorative layer, while simultaneous maintaining of the said part with the thin irregularity of the surface in height.
EFFECT: proposing of the method of image transfer under water pressure, which is adapted to carry out matting together with the transfer under water pressure of the decorative layer formed when transferring under water pressure of the print image on the surface of the article, without the need to use any outer coating, which is able to control the matting effect in the predetermined parts or on the entire article surface.
