FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing matt and scratch-resistant coatings is carried out under the influence of actinic radiation on coating systems containing activated double bonds during radical polymerization. According to the method for producing matt coatings, a means curable under the radiation influence is applied to the substrate as a coating. The coating is irradiated with ultraviolet light with a wavelength of ≥200 nm to ≤420 nm at a radiation dose of 25 to 120 mJ/cm2. The resulting coating is irradiated with ultraviolet light with a wavelength of ≥120 nm to ≤230 nm. Thereafter, the coating is subjected to final curing by actinic radiation. Moreover, substrates to which the coating is applied by means of above method are proposed.
EFFECT: providing the possibility to create a simple method for producing uniform deeply-matted coatings suitable in case of coatings curable under the influence of radiation, with the layer thickness above 20 microns.
