FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forming of female ends of thermoplastic pipes. For this, the plant for forming the female ends of thermoplastic pipes is used which comprises forming chamber to receive pipe heated end to make said female end thereat. It includes air feed line to intake compressed air appropriate source and to force it in forming chamber via appropriate inlet. It comprises means to cool pipe ends with compressed air. Note here that cooling means incorporated refrigerator plant with working cycle running on coolant and closed circuit for coolant circulation. Said closed circuit includes coolant evaporator arranged at air path in air feed line. Cooling means comprises refrigerator section to cool down heat exchange fluid circulating in said closed circuit and heat exchanger arranged upstream of evaporator in aid feed line.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and cooling rate.
