SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of moulding tube end female end from thermoplastic material. Proposed method differs from known procedures in that it comprises the following stages. At first stage, first mandrel is fitted into tube end to be expanded without moulding female end. Then, mandrel is withdrawn from expanded end. Now, expanded end shape is stabilised for second mandrel to be fitted therein to produce female end.
EFFECT: simplified and shorter process, uniform thickness of tube end.
