The housing of the accumulator battery has a finger engaging portion which engages the finger(s) of an operator in the direction of removing the housing of the accumulator battery from the electric tool, a locking device capable of locking with the possibility of releasing the housing of the accumulator battery from the electric tool and a working element for unlocking the locking device.

EFFECT: novel design of an accumulator battery which can be easily removed from the housing of an electric tool.
